Interior Designer / Interiors Architect

Brand Architects is a highly respected, BCorp certified and Carbon Neutral Architectural practice working on a diverse range of public infrastructure projects.
We have a passion for delivering socially and environmentally sustainable design outcomes.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer / Interiors Architect who is passionate about the role of design in the community and dedicated to delivering sustainable outcomes to high professional standards.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our vibrant Melbourne studio, to work collaboratively with the architectural team, delivering high quality and sustainable outcomes for our clients.
The role provides the opportunity to have a significant impact on a range of Education, Health, Sport, Recreation and Community projects in the public sector.
We are looking for a highly motivated, professional, collaborative, creative and resourceful team player, ideally with the potential to move into a leadership role in the practice over time.

The successful applicant will:

  • have in excess of eight years’ post graduate experience working in Architecture or Interior Design
  • hold a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • have demonstrated Revit skills
  • have exceptional conceptual design skills
  • possess a strong (bordering on obsessive) attention to detail
  • be a collaborative team player, capable of leading teams
  • have the technical knowledge and ability to develop design through to documentation, including specification writing and scheduling
  • have excellent communication skills
  • have a positive and professional attitude and presentation

The position will offer excellent job satisfaction and leadership potential for the right applicant.
Remuneration will be negotiated relative to qualifications, demonstrated skills and relevant experience.
Candidates must be permanent Australian residents.
