Trinity Catholic Primary School
The refurbishment process began with the vision to transform under-utilised spaces that lacked character, within the existing school buildings. The idea was to replace these spaces with light filled, contemporary, and flexible learning spaces that were welcoming to staff and students alike whilst maintaining the building footprint.
The reconfiguration and refurbishment of these learning spaces created stimulating learning areas that promoted social spaces for collaboration, and created opportunities to extend students knowledge by seeing higher grades in action.
By recognising that learning is not fixed by time or place, the integration of mobile furniture and wireless technology supported and allowed for seamless movement within these revitalised learning spaces. And most importantly, support the Schools’ Design Principles for learning.
