Senior Architect

Brand Architects is a highly respected, BCorp certified and Carbon Neutral Architectural practice working on a diverse range of public infrastructure projects.
We have a passion for delivering socially and environmentally sustainable design outcomes.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect who is passionate about the role of architecture in the community and dedicated to delivering projects to high professional standards.

The role

You will lead multiple project teams and have a significant impact on a range of significant Education, Health, Sport and Community projects in the public sector.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a registered architect with at least 8 years post graduate experience in the local environment.
  • Be able to articulate past achievements and future goals in delivering positive social and environmental outcomes.
  • Have a passion for working collaboratively.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in a client facing role.
  • Be a great listener, open and welcoming of new ideas and better ways of doing things.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate outstanding design, detailing and project management skills.
  • Possess excellent time management and effective delegation skills.
  • Be able to independently lead project teams with minimal oversight.
  • Display ability to effectively manage external consultant teams.
  • Be a proficient REVIT user.
  • Have the ability and desire to professionally mentor younger architects.
  • Ideally have experience working on major local and state government projects.

The position will offer excellent job satisfaction for the right applicant.
Remuneration will be negotiated relative to qualifications, demonstrated skills and relevant experience.
Candidates must be permanent Australian residents.
