A “School of Excellence” for academically gifted students demands high quality, environmentally sustainable and innovative facilities.

Suzanne Cory High School, one of the first schools in Victoria to achieve a 5 Star Green Star Rating, is a $20M Selective Entry High School providing a pre-university flexible learning environment for 800 students.

A central agora is the heart and lungs of the school, natural light levels are controlled via a highly visible movement of the triple layer EFTE roof.  The design is open and honest to enable the structure, services and environmental initiatives to be visible, giving students the opportunity to learn about the relationship between the building and the natural environment.
